Student Art & Essay Contest
In celebration of the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Bowne House Historical Society held an Art & Essay contest for students grades Pre-K through 6. Students were asked to “Explain or show how you think America should celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our nation.”
Student winners received a First Place Certificate and a free, one-day family pass to visit the Bowne House. All participants received a Certificate of Participation and an honorary Bowne House Junior Historian membership card.
