Bowne House is featured in the Prism NYC: In the House series, produced by NYC Media. In the House explores New York City's oldest surviving homes and the rich, often dark history of early New York. It was in Bowne House where Mayor LaGuardia declared the home a shrine to religious freedom, and immigrants fought for hard won freedoms which helped inspire our Bill of Rights.
The episode's original air date was Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 at 7:30pm on NYC Life. Part Two of the Bowne House feature will be aired at a later date.
